Marketplace Policy

The Guild will post for sale ads for fiber-related equipment for Weavers Guild of Kalamazoo members. Ads will only be accepted from members.

​

Member must provide copy ready to post, complete with contact information. The webmaster reserves the right to deny ads that do not provide sufficient information about the sale item, or insufficient contact information.

The Guild will not be responsible for the veracity of any ads.

Ads will be posted for three weeks. After three weeks, the posted ad will be removed. If the seller wishes for the ad to run beyond three weeks, they will need to re-submit the ad to the webmaster.

Pictures of the item(s) to be sold will be posted if provided in .jpeg form.

Be cautious of online marketplace scams, which often involve a buyer or seller requesting payment via gift cards, a refusal to meet in person, or asking to send an item to a "shipping agent." Other red flags include pressure to act quickly, and vague or suspicious requests for personal information.
