Variations on a Theme,
Trish Lange. We begin with a simple concept: a single
piece of clothing and branch out to explore its possibilities. We’ll make a
muslin pattern customized for each student and discover how to design an entire
wardrobe from this single element. If you have already woven fabric, you can
create a finished garment. Warp and weft, loom layout, color and yarns will
also be discussed.

March 10 and 11: Knit in Color: Learn Four Different Color Knitting Techniques, Lois Bryant. Using hand-painted yarn balanced with solid colors, we will make a pillow top that includes intarsia, entralac, stranded and mosaic knitting as well as other cool techniques. You will also learn general knitting tips that will give you a new perspective on the craft.
